| What is Chiropractic? |
|
Chiropractic is a
clinical science based on a law of biology that states, "all living things have the
ability to live healthy within their environment." |
|
Chiropractic also draws
on the theory that the nervous system controls and coordinates all of the human body's
functions. |
|
Chiropractic
hypothesizes that a relationship exists between the health of the nervous system and the
health of the body. |
|
In 1895 the founder of
chiropractic, D. D. Palmer, conjectured that a direct relationship exists between the
function of the osseous framework of the body and the health of the nervous system and
therefore the health of the body. |
